Part of our trusted RS PRO range, this 300 W fixed installation DC to AC power inverter is a compact electrical device that can be coupled with a car battery and used to charge appliances.

Devices that plug into wall sockets run on alternating current (AC). The other electrical current is direct current (DC), which most car batteries generate. If you need to power your devices on the road, a DC to AC power inverter like this one can be used to bridge the gap.

This inverter produces pure sine wave, which is best suited for laptops and other smart devices that are sensitive to fluctuating currents. Its robust anodised aluminium case provides excellent heat dissipation. The unit is also provided with inbuilt protection against overheating and short-circuiting.

This product conforms to the EN 61000-6-3 standard on electromagnetic compatibility as well as EN 60950-1, which denotes safe-tested information technology equipment.
