Protecting the outside is a durable PVC (polyvinyl chloride) sheath that helps prevents heat, chemical and mechanical damage to the wiring within. The three cores are also insulated with PVC and colour-coded for ease of use. To reduce the risk of any electromagnetic interference, the cable has a galvanised steel braid screen. This also helps protect your cable against rust or corrosion.
