The SMC CQUB2 Series Compact Plate Cylinder is a lightweight, compact, easy-to-maintain cylinder model that offers machine builders a space-saving and power-saving cylinder.

The compact cylinder is suitable for use within general automation areas. The CQUB2 Series is up to 15% more efficient than MU Series versions, and is significantly narrower than piston-based CQ2 Series cylinders. The CQUB2 Series is also up to 36% lighter than MU Series cylinders.
Series CQUB2 cylinder design enables auto switches to be mounted in one of four positions, and there is no protrusion of the auto switch from the cylinder body.
CQUB2 20-40mm/CVQB 32-40mm Diameter
Machine builders have traditionally been restricted in terms of what cylinder options they have available. SMC have developed the CQU Compact Plate Cylinder and the CVQ Compact Cylinder with Valve, both of which offer the installer a cylinder that is compact and easy to install.
