Compact Housing Retroreflective & Diffuse Scan
Can be installed where space is the limiting factor but the versatility of a barrel sensor is still required.
Available in either NPN or PNP complementary (SPDT) outputs. Incorporated in this is the ability to use the N/C output as an N/O alarm output. The alarm output operates when the sensors excess gain in the light condition becomes marginal (drops to 1-1.5x). The load for both outputs must not exceed 150mA.
The fixed field units compare the reflection of the sensors emitted light beam from an object to two differently aimed detectors in the sensor head. This enables the sensors to detect an object that is only a short distance directly in front of another object or background, this distance can be as low as a few mm
Retro-reflective models have a special lens which polarises the emitted light and filters out unwanted reflections, making these sensors useable in applications otherwise unsuited to retro-reflective sensing.
The ac units are fitted with a solid state SPST relay capable of switching up to 300mA (continuous)
