It detects nearby items by bouncing infrared waves off a reflecting module. By analysing the reflected beam, the unit establishes the presence, absence and position of a workpiece. This product senses objects up to 1m away when used with the XUZC50CR reflector (742-0818) and up to 2m with the XUZC50 reflector (281-1751). This makes it ideal for use in mid-sized setups.
