Ensure your processes go the distance with this photoelectric sensor from OMRON. It has a built-in amplifier to detect objects at distances between 20 and 200mm, so it's ideal for use with conveyor systems. Background suppression means the sensor focuses its attention on moving items rather than the conveyor belt itself. This nifty function also helps it identify height differences in your targets. The detection distance and a choice of dark-on and light-on operating modes are selectable via a switch on the housing, so you benefit from speedy configuration. As the device is suitable for bracket and post-mounting, you'll have no trouble getting it into the right position.
