Shine a light on moving objects with this photoelectric sensor from OMRON. It's a retroreflective type that acts as an emitter and receiver in one, simplifying your setup and reducing wiring. As it incorporates a polarised LED and an MSR function, it can reliably detect transparent, smooth and shiny items such as canned goods and clear bottles of liquid.
