RS PRO Through Beam Photoelectric Sensor Rectangular 20 m Detection
The Through-Beam photelectric sensor from RS PRO includes excellent detection distance measurement sensor using through-beam technology providing stable and reliable sensor detection. The photoelectric sensor has a plastic rectangular / square shape design plus is IP67 rated (waterproof) making the sensor suitable for use in harsh environments. Flexible and easy to operate, emitter and receiver, infrared light source, LED output indicators, 1 Ms response time, universal housing, short circuit, overload, reverse, and Zener protection are just a few of the features within the RS PRO Photoelectric sensor.

What is the Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor
This sensor is made up of a light emitter and a light receiver, the detection distance can be increased by separating the light emitter and receiver. When using the through-beam sensor the emitted and receiver are installed either side of the of the path of objects to be detected. When the object passes through the light beam the light is blocked by the object and the light receiving device acts to output a switch control signal.
