Peroxide Test Strips


From Instruments Direct, a pack of individual peroxide test strips designed for measuring the levels of peroxide present in water or a solution. The peroxide strips are made from a plastic section with a sealed test paper in the tip. These testing strips are easy to use and provide accurate results within 10 seconds.

What is Peroxide used for?


Due to its excellent disinfectant and sanitizing properties, peroxide is used in a wide range of industries as an efficient cleaner. It is used to disinfect machinery and clean hard surfaces, peroxide also an effective stain remover.

How to use the Test Strip


• Take a single testing strip and briefly dip the end into the solution or sample of water to be tested.
• Remove strip from solution and carefully shake off any excess liquid
• Expose the indicator tip to the air and wait for ten seconds
• Compare the test strip with the supplied colour chart
• Full range from 0, 1, 3, 10, 50 and 100 ppm. The colour chart goes from white to blue dependant on levels detected.

Applications


Test strips are generally used to test for any remaining residues after the cleaning process. If the test strips remain white production can continue. If the strips display any indication of blue more cleaning is required. Some of the most common applications and environments for single use test strips are
