Phoenix Contact COMBICON SMKDSN 5.08mm Angled PCB Terminal Block

The SMKDSN range from Phoenix Contact are PCB terminal blocks that are 5.08mm pitched and feature a 45° connection direction. Phoenix's contacts are known world-wide so incorporating this PCB terminal block into your design allows you maximum flexibility and worldwide use. Not to mention, these connectors feature a low-temperature rise thanks to its maximum contact force and with the connector being angled, you can have a multi-row arrangement on the PCB. Screw connection terminals allow you to easily connect your wire and have a reliable connection, easily.

These PCB terminal blocks are designed to be wave soldered onto the PCB and have current ratings of 13.5A.

Features and benefits:

  • Angled connector - allowing for connection of two conductors while also enabling multi-row arrange on the PCB

  • Extremely small design for the respective conductor cross-section

  • World-wide known connection technology for maximum versatility

  • Linear pinning on pin-out

  • Built from a durable polyamide material while being green in colour

  • How do PCB terminal blocks work?

PCB terminal blocks simply allow you to connect wire into a socket that then transmits the data to the PCB. They work by having you plug in a wire of the correct AWG into the socket that is then usually locked down by either a screw or spring-cage for a strong connection. This connection is also connected to the output pins that have been soldered onto the PCB.
