These 3M 1532 Series Thru-Board SMT Sockets allow the header pins to mate through the PCB which allows the PCB stack height to be reduced. The design of the 1532 Series Thru-Board SMT Socket also allows them to be stacked end to end. The wiping area of the contacts of the 1532 Series Thru-Board SMT Sockets are 30 μ" gold over nickel plated with the PCB solder tails being tin plated.
