Where the feedback signal is always referenced to a start or home position, an incremental encoder provides a uniquely defined, relative position. The Broadcom HEDS-5600 are high performance, low cost, two and three channel optical incremental encoders. These encoders emphasize high reliability, high resolution, and easy assembly.
