RS PRO SMD LTCC Ceramic Slow Acting Fuse (1206)

A ceramic slow acting SMD fuse (slow blow fuse) intended to protect against short circuits, power surges and mismatched loads to avoid permanent damage to sensitive electronics and electrical systems.
Slow acting fuses, sometimes referred to as a slow blow or time delay fuse, are a type of fuse designed to withstand temporary surges in current above its current rating. Slow acting fuse are particularly useful to protect against short circuits where there is a sustained surge in power above the current rating.
A lightweight and surface mount (SMD) 1206 fuse designed for direct attachment to the circuit board saving weight and valuable space. Suitable for a range of applications and particularly suited for use in battery packs and cooling fan systems.
