Sick Non-Contact Safety Switch


The Sick IN3000 direct series switch is a non-contact safety device. It has a safe switch ON distance of 3.5mm and switches OFF distance of 7mm. It is used for position monitoring and works on a non-contact basis. This unique inductive sensor is activated by metal and therefore, does not need a separate actuator. This safety switch can be connected directly to a suitable electronic evaluation system such as a safe control solution. The small design of this switch makes optimum integration in the machine design. It is a cost-effective solution for position monitoring and combines the benefits of a small housing with easy and direct evaluation. The wide response range of this safety switch makes it simple to mount and adjust.
