This interlock switch is designed to be installed on machine guard doors and provides high tolerance to door misalignment and movement combined with the well-known reliability of non-contact switches, helping you to minimise downtime. The magnetic actuator is withdrawn from the switch when the safety barrier is released. This opens the NC safety contact which then isolates power to the machine. This ensures that machinery cannot run while the safety barrier is open and ensures that personnel will not access a hazardous area. This interlock switch is ideal for use with sliding, hinge, and lift-off guard doors.

The Ferrogard 440N-G02077 safety switch has a supply voltage rating of 24V dc at 1A current, comes with FRS21 rectangular housings and a 4m cable, and has 2NC (Normally Closed) Safety Contacts and 1NO (Normally Open) Auxiliary Contact. It has a sensing distance of 12mm (Make) to 23mm (Break) and an operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C. It is ideal for use in wet environments and industrial applications as it is sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), which ensures that it is fully protected against ingress of dust particles and can withstand temporary immersion in water. It also has protected safety contacts to help ensure that it will not fail to danger, to give you peace-of-mind and keep your operations running efficiently.
