The 440N-Z21US2B interlock switch has a unique code actuator, 2 x PNP safety outputs and 1 x PNP auxiliary output. It features a 10m cable and has an assured sensing distance of 18mm. The rectangular enclosure is comprised of durable plastic and is red for easy visibility of the unit. This switch is ideally suited for use with hinged, lift-off, and sliding doors.

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, which is a non-contact method of transferring digital data via radio frequency waves. Equipment with this type of wireless communication usually consist of an RFID tag, an RFID reader, and an antenna. The tag transmits data when triggered by an electromagnetic pulse from the reader. This technology is used widely in many industries, for example with tracking inventory goods, personnel tracking and identification, and restricted area access. Non-contact switches with this technology are highly tamper-proof as they cannot be manipulated, providing a higher level of security.
