F3S-TGR Non Contact Safety Switch

The F3S-TGR non contact safety switches are designed to interlock hinge, sliding or removable guard doors. Plastic and stainless steel switches are available, the latter are ideally suited to high hygiene demands in the food industry. The switches have a long sensing range to avoid false signals resulting from an ill aligned door, for example.

Non-contact equals no abrasion which means no particles
Excellent coverage of mechanical tolerances
Can operate behind stainless steel fittings
Screw hole covers

F3S-TGR-N_C Switch

Connect up to 3 switches in series
LED for easy diagnosis

• Effective in environments with stringent hygiene requirements

How does the non-contact feature enhance performance in busy environments?

The non-contact design prevents wear and tear that can lead to failures over time, ensuring consistent performance even in high-use applications where physical contact would typically cause deterioration.

What types of connections can be used with this device?

The safety switch is equipped with a 5m cable and can be easily integrated into existing wiring systems. It is compatible with all Omron safety controllers for seamless operation.

What is the maximum distance for switch activation and how does it affect its installation?

The switching distance is 17mm, which allows for installation flexibility and accurate monitoring of door status without requiring direct contact, making it suitable for various configuration needs.

What ensures this safety switch operates reliably in harsh conditions?

The IP69K rating indicates resistance to dust and water ingress, allowing it to function effectively in high-pressure and high-temperature environments, ensuring durability and reliability.

How does the coded actuator contribute to safety?

The coded actuator enhances security by ensuring that only compatible actuators will activate the switch, reducing the risk of accidental operation and increasing overall safety in industrial applications.
