Schmersal Magnetic Non-Contact Safety Switch, 24V DC, M8 - BNS260 Series - BNS 260-11/01ZG-ST-R
This Schmersal non-contact safety switch uses a magnet to interrupt the power supply on potentially dangerous machinery. When used together with an actuating magnet, it increases workplace safety by halting operations and reducing the risk of injury or damage to equipment. An LED (light-emitting diode) status indicator clearly shows you the current function of the switch, so you can respond quickly to any malfunctions for enhanced productivity and minimal downtime.

Is this switch tamper-resistant?
Yes. This non-contact safety switch uses a coded-magnet actuator that can only be operated with the appropriate actuator key. This means it can't be bypassed with simple magnets or other tools, preventing tampering and enhancing safety.

Caution
EN60947-5-3 standard is only met if entire system consisting of safety sensor (BNS260), magnet (BPS260) and a safety monitoring module (AES) is used.
