Ferrogard safety switches provide the reliability of non-contact switches combined with a high tolerance to door misalignment due to their large sensing field. Risk of debris contamination is reduced due to no contact between the sensor and actuator. The FRS 1, 2, 20 and 21 devices are made from moulded ABS with a rectangular housing for flexible mounting options, and are sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), which makes them dust-tight and highly suitable for use in wet environments.
