This advanced switch features magnetically sensitive elements which must be activated in a specific sequence to operate correctly, ensuring greater reliability. Power is isolated when the machine guard is released, preventing access to dangerous areas for operators as machinery cannot run until the safety barrier is closed. It is highly tamper-resistant as it is designed specifically to operate with its actuator and cannot be defeated by a simple magnet, giving you peace-of-mind.

These cost-effective safety switches are ideal for use with sliding, hinge, and lift-off safety guards. The control unit is used with a single sensor to ensure a high-integrity system in high-risk applications. The Sipha switch has facilities for connecting a manual reset button and monitoring external devices, such as contactors. For other applications, multiple sensors (including mechanical switches) can be connected to one Sipha control unit.

This Sipha switch has a supply voltage rating of 250V AC, 300V DC at 0.5A current, comes with S22 moulded ABS plastic housings and a 3m cable. It has 1NC/1NO Safety Contact and 1NC Auxiliary Contact. It can be mounted in any position and has an operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C. It has a sensing distance of 9mm (Make) to 12mm (Break).

A magnetically coded non-contact switch is a device used for monitoring the position of machine safety barriers. They are typically used in industrial environments.
