Risk of debris contamination is reduced due to no contact between the sensor and actuator. The FRS 1, 2, 20 and 21 devices are made from moulded ABS with a rectangular housing for flexible mounting options, and are sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), which makes them dust-tight and highly suitable for use in wet environments.

The 440N-G02090 Ferrogard switch has 2 NC (Normally Closed) safety contacts and the switching capacity is 1A max at 24 V dc. This FRS 20 type model is magnetically actuated for dependable contact-free functionality and comes with a 4-Pin Micro Quick Disconnect connection. The moulded ABS plastic enclosure is red to ensure easy visibility of the unit in an emergency.
