The Pilz safety sensor is designed for position monitoring of movable guards in accordance with EN 60947-5-3. It features 2 N/O contacts, 1 auxiliary N/O contact, and an 8-pin M12 male connector. The sensor is suitable for applications up to SIL 3/PL e/Cat. 4. It has a cylindrical M12 design with an IP69 protection rating, an operating distance of 8 mm, and is intended for use with PSEN ix1. The sensor comes with an M12 actuator and is housed in stainless steel. The package unit (PU) includes 1 sensor with the M12 actuator.
