Neodymium Deep Pot Bi-Pole Magnets

The Rare Earth Magnets are the most recent of the magnetic materials developed and have been introduced because of the high flux magnetic field they produce. They were manufactured in commercial quantities in the early 1990's and replaced many of the applications which previously had been designed for Cast Alnico and Ferrite materials. Rare Earth magnets particularly the Neodymium Iron Boron grades max. energy product were 5 to 10 times stronger than the conventional Alnico and Ferrite grades. This enabled designers to reduce component size.

Minimising contact area with high strength

Manufactured from Rare Earth material giving high strength flux fields

Neodymium magnet in a cylindrical brass pot assembled with steel pole pieces to give a multi-pole ratio on the contact face

Multi-pole effect gives superior grip at the contact face ideal for clamping or lifting application

Shallow field circuit gives suitability for positioning jigs soldering fixtures etc

N35 grade nickel plated magnet material

These pots have a maximum operating temperature of 80°C

Applications:

Energy Engineering such as Wind Power generation

Computer Disc Drives

Magnet Separation

Magnetic Filtration

Loudspeaker Drive Units

Holding and Clamping

Work Holding

Instrumentation
