Eaton Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, DIN Rail Mounting, Manual Actuation - 222353 PKZM4-32

Electrical faults are nothing to worry about when you have this motor protection circuit breaker from Eaton standing guard. It halts the power supply to your motor in the event of an overvoltage, short circuit or relay shutdown. When you've fixed the fault, you can switch the circuit back on simply by turning the rotary knob. The status of the breaker can be checked visually just by noting this knob's on or off position. Mount the unit on a DIN rail using the handy screw terminals as part of a compact and organised system.

Features & Benefits

• Voltage rating of 690V AC for versatile use
• IP20 rating means it's resistant to dust and safe from accidental finger contact
• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C makes it safe to use in demanding industrial environments
• Specifically designed for compatibility with Eaton's DIL series of contactors

Do I need to use an upstream current limiter with this MPCB?

Thanks to its high switching current of 50kA at either 230V AC or 400V AC, there's no need for an upstream current limiter with this circuit breaker.
