Eaton Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, 690V AC Supply Voltage, 93 (L) x 90.5 (D) x 45mm (W) - PKZM 01 Series - 278481 PKZM01-2,5

Give your motors a break from dangerous electric current by using this MPCB from Eaton. It keeps a close watch on your circuits and cuts off the power if it senses faults like current overload or short circuits. If your motor works with a three-phase electrical system, you can trust this three-pole device to keep it safe as it's also sensitive to phase imbalance and phase loss. Get the MPCB started by simply pressing the built-in push button. You can use this unit to protect your HVAC systems.

Eaton PKZM01-2,5 MPCB

• Finger and back-of-hand proof to prevent electric shocks
• Compact dimensions of 93 (L) x 45 (W) x 90.5mm (D) for space-saving mounting
• Broad operating temperature range between -25°C and +55°C to withstand harsh industrial environments
• Shock resistant to prevent false tripping in vibrating conditions
• Overload protection range between 1.6 and 2.5A for versatility

What's meant by phase imbalance and phase loss?

Phase imbalance is when the current flowing through all three conductors in a three-phase system is uneven, which may damage the motor. A phase loss is when power is suddenly cut off from one of the conductors, causing the other two to overheat.
