Designed for pulse-width-modulated (PWM) control of DC motors, the A5950 is capable of peak output currents up to ±3 A and operating voltages from 5.5V to 40 V. DC motors are controlled using standard PHASE and ENABLE signals to permit forward, reverse, coast and brake mode operation. Fast or slow current decay is selected via the MODE pin.The A5950 includes a fixed off-time adjustable PWM regulator for current control.
