For automation applications requiring precise measurement and adjustment of speed, position and distance, this rotary encoder with incremental encoder technology from our trusted own brand RS PRO is the perfect solution. These incremental encoders feature a hollow shaft (through-bore), making them ideal for mounting to a motor shaft. This allows them to be installed much easier than shafted encoders, as there is no need for a coupling. This robust industrial standard encoder features housing cap diecast aluminium, with particularly eco-friendly powder coating offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance and includes an IP65 rating ensuring protection from dust and moisture. This rotary encoder produces 500 PPR (pulses per revolution), utilising 2 ball precision bearings and is ideal for use in a variety of industrial automation applications.
