ATSAMR21 SoC Xplained Pro Development Board

The Atmel SAM R21 is a series of low-power System-on-Chips (SoC) featuring a SAM D21 microcontroller and an integrated AT86RF233 2.4GHz ISM-Band transceiver. The Atmel SAM R21 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is intended for prototyping and evaluating the ATSAMR21G18A device. The Atmel SAM R21 Xplained Pro hardware platform kit offers a range of features which provide the user with an understanding of how to integrate the ATSAMR21G18A into a custom design. Atmel’s SAM R21 is supported by the Atmel Studio integrated development platform (IDP). The Xplained Pro MCU series evaluation kit includes an on board embedded debugger. No additional tools are required to programme or debug the ATSAMR21G18A microcontroller. The ATSAMR21-XPRO board is compatible with a ZigBee stack that supports a self-healing, self-organizing mesh network, while optimizing network traffic and minimizing power consumption.
