RS PRO Free-cutting Hexagon Mild Steel Bar (Grade EN1A)
A low carbon mild Steel bar suitable for free cutting (or free machining) enabling automated machining and also CNC processing.
Bright mild steel is ideal for the manufacture of small turned components which will not be subjected to high stress levels in service.
EN1A bright mild Steel provides better tolerances and a straighter, cleaner finish than standard mild Steel and is suitable for intricate drilling and turning.
