RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 60 mm x 6 mm x 1 m


Use this RS PRO flat metal bar when you need to repair or build machinery or components. As it's made of corrosion-resistant 6082-T6 aluminium, it's an ideal choice for damp environments such as steam rooms or food production factories.


It has a 310 MPa tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-stress fabrications such as industrial equipment and walkways. The flat bar is one metre in length and machines well if you need to cut it. It's also a good grade of aluminium for welding, drilling and tapping, so you can use it in a wide range of projects.


As part of our RS PRO range, this product has been tested for quality and consistency. The aluminium bar is commonly used in transport applications and trusses, as well as in milk churns and beer barrels.
