XL40 Adjustable Bedhead Luminaire
The XL 40 is a versatile enclosed spring balanced arm luminaire, particularly suitable for wall mounting above beds.The XL40 is available in two versions: with an on / off switch (RS 702-5239) and without an on / off switch (RS 702-5233). The version without an on / off switch (RS 702-5233) can be incorporated into nurse control systems. Lamps can be mounted on associated bracket, available separately, please see RS 702-5264.
Fully enclosed spring balanced 1100mm arm provides ease of movement whilst maintaining set position
The shade neck assembly allows the bi-directional movement of the shade in 2 planes
Head remains parallel to surface whilst repositioned
Shade diameter 204mm (8 inches)
For the switched version (RS 702-5239) the On / Off switch is fitted to shade
The unit accepts a maximum of 60 watt incandescent lamp (not supplied)
Self ballasted fluorescent lamps (not supplied) can also be used to obtain energy efficiency
Fitted with a bayonet (B22) brass lampholder
Powder coated finish for durability
Colour White (RAL9010)

The XL40 lamsp are not supplied with a mains plug. These lamps are designed to be hard wired into bed head lighting control systems in hospitals, for example.
