AEAT-601B Incremental Magnetic Encoder

The AEAT-601B is a low-cost rotary quadrature encoder that converts the rotation of a shaft to a series of pulses on 3 digital output channels. A suitable microcontroller can calculate angular position, speed and rotational direction from the two signals in phase quadrature and one-pulse per revolution index channel. The use of magnetic technology for motion control and sensing activities eliminates mechanical contact and enables this device to be free from mechanical wear and tear. The encoder maximum rotational speed is typically only limited by the application bearing speed.
