This RS PRO switch is a robust plunger-type limit switch you can use in your industrial or commercial application. The device's plunger actuator triggers it to create or break an electrical connection when it comes in contact with an object, making the switch especially useful when you need to control machine movements.
The body of this unit is made from plastic reinforced with glass fibre for strength and excellent resistance to physical impact, corrosion and high temperatures. It's a snap action type of switch, which means it will instantaneously transfer contacts from one position to another.
The unit has a threaded hole to make installation easier. It has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67, indicating it's dust-tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water. It also has European and International UL/CSA/CE certifications, so you can be sure it's safe to use.
