When you need to protect halogen lamps from voltage spikes, overheating and current overloads, turn to this electronic light transformer.

The transformer has a lead wire termination for easy installation. It's compact, measuring 53 mm in diameter and 22 mm in depth. It allows for two dimming methods when combined with a dimmer switch. Leading-edge dimming creates a constant intensity level and keeps the lighting at a certain lumens output, while trailing-edge dimming lets you change the lumens output by controlling the current.

Part of the RS PRO series, the transformer has been thoroughly tested for consistent quality and durability. Its IP20 rating means it's safe enough to be touched and handled, and it complies with EN61047 standards for AC / DC supplied electronics.
