RS PRO 3 m Violet Lifting Sling Round, 1t
Attach this round lifting sling to your crane or pulley system for an easy way to lift heavy objects. It can handle a maximum weight of 2 tonnes, making it roughly as strong as a metal chain, though its polyester construction makes it significantly lighter. The 3-metre lifting sling is also highly flexible and shock-absorbing so is less likely to cause damage to your load.
When straight, the sling can pull a load of up to 1 tonne or up to 0.8 tonnes with the addition of a choke hitch. Depending on the angle, basket hitches can enable the sling to handle loads of 1 tonne, 1.4 tonnes or 2 tonnes.
This lifting sling has been extensively tested to meet RS PRO certifications. It is commonly used for construction applications and is also ideally suited for towing and winching vehicles.
