Lumileds LUXEON CoB Series LEDs
The LUXEON CoB Core range from Lumileds is their original family of chip-on-board (COB) LEDs. LUXEON CoB LEDs have an extremely small light emitting surface (LES) with a uniform light output. Their small LES, measuring between 6.5mm and 18.5 mm, produces a bright output for its size.
They offer high efficacy and flux density alongside high thermal resistance. Their high brightness also enables fewer LEDs to be used within a design, simplifying the design process.
Suitable applications for the LUXEON CoB Core LEDs include; retrofits, architecture lighting, downlights, high bay, low bay, outdoor lighting, speciality lighting and spotlights.
An ecosystem of holders and optics are available for use with the LUXEON CoB compact range.
