The TSSF4500 family, from Vishay Semiconductors, are through-hole Infrared (IR) emitting diodes. They are in side looking packages with a clear, untinted plastic dome lens. The TSSF4500 IR LEDs use double hetero (DH) technology which enables a high radiant power and high speed output.
