OSRAM TO-18 Metal Package IR Emitters
A family of Infrared (IR) LEDs, from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, are in TO-18 metal can packages. Their through-hole metal packages are hermetically sealed. The TO-18 IR LEDs offer short switching times. They also have a spectral match with silicon photodetectors. Suitable applications for the TO-18 IR LEDs include; photointerrupters, sensor technology and light curtains.
