ABB ACS350 general machinery drives are designed for the OEM machine building sector, systems integrators and end users in sectors such as food processing, material handling, textiles, printing, rubber and plastics. The small size makes it easy for panel builders and OEM's to design smaller control panels or increase the number of drives in an existing panel. Features include FlashDrop technology which allows users to upload parameters without powering up the drive. thus making it possible to pre-configure drives before delivery.,The Basic (stock no. 511-0455) and Assistant (stock no. 511-0449) Control Panels allow the user to select the required level of interface for the application.

Sensorless vector control or Scalar control if selected
Uses Basic or Assistant Control Panels which feature a start-up assistant to aid commissioning. Assistant Panel includes real time clock, HELP key and "changed parameter" features
8 step sequence programming allows the drive to carry out a set of sequences based on triggers from external plant actuators, reducing the need for an external PLC
Protects motor output and I/O mis-wiring, the drive reports a fault if power is connected to the motor terminals
Coated boards included as standard, protect against moisture and hostile particles
