The Souriau 8STA series 22-poles male circular connector has a plug-type connection. It features a colour-coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click. It has 5A current rating per contact with a superb tolerance to vibration, impact and harsh environments. The connector shell is made from rugged aluminium over conductive black zinc plating with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. This connector is ideal for non-safety applications that require a robust circular connector such as military where size and weight are important design consideration.
