Epic Series R Flange Mount Circular Connectors


From Lapp, the Epic Series R range of circular connectors presents a compact solution to signal and power applications. Featuring a high contact density within a relatively small shell size, these connectors are ideal when space saving is a consideration.

These front and back panel mounting connectors have a robust flange that can screw into a surface for an assured connection.

The R Series connectors have a robust copper alloy with nickel plating construction, which offers excellent mechanical protection. They also have a screw locking mating system, and are well sealed and suitable for use in demanding environments. There are also dust-caps available to ensure maximum protection even when not mated.

Environment

The Epic Series R circular connectors are protected to IP65. This means they are dust tight and resistant to low pressure water spray. They also have a good degree of mechanical resistance, and are resistant to corrosion. As such they present a low maintenance connector solution for most indoor environments, and even some open air applications.

Panel-mount shells with pin inserts will only mate with cable-mount shells with socket inserts and the panel-mount shells with socket inserts will only mate with cable-mount shells with pin inserts.,Further note: The in-line coupler is designed to mate with cable mount connectors of the opposite gender.
