JAE PS-MIL Series 2.54 mm Wire to Board IDC Ribbon Cable Socket Connectors
PS-MIL series 2.54 mm IDC ribbon cable connectors conforming to MIL-DTL-83503 standard for terminating 1.27 mm pitch flat ribbon cable with a 28 AWG wire size. These PS-MIL series IDC ribbon cable socket connectors mate with PS-MIL Series PCB headers for use in wire to board applications. The IDC contacts of these PS-MIL IDC sockets allow simple and time saving termination of the flat ribbon cable. The housings of these IDC ribbon cable connectors feature polarization slots and keying to prevent mismating. When mated with the PCB header the IDC socket connector is locked firmly into place by levers on either side of the header. These PS-MIL IDC connectors are available with a closed-end design (part numbers ending in 1C) or designed for daisy chaining (part numbers ending in 1D). Strain reliefs can be ordered separately for extra cable support
