BSP Reducers

Reducing thread adaptors with male (Rs) BSP parallel thread to female (Rp) BSP parallel thread. Male thread is sealed at the port connection with a nitrile rubber seal. Operating temperature range without pressure reductions is -30 to +100°C. Manufactured from steel to BS5200 with a zinc yellow chromated finish to give a high corrosion resistance (500 hours in salt spray test). The 60° female cone makes these adaptors an ideal port fitting for use with our range of BSP reusable fittings and crimped hose assemblies.

Features and Benefits

Visible bite of progressive ring helps prevent blow-off
Excellent sealing capacity when used in various applications including vacuum and hydraulic systems
Stress evenly distributed throughout out minimising concentration at the bite point
Compact overall dimensions make EO fittings ideal or confined spaces

Note

For adaptors of unequal sizes then the lower pressure rating is applicable.

Warning

Hydraulic systems can work at high pressures, and fittings and adaptors can be subjected to extreme loadings such as vibration and uncontrolled pressure peaks. When choosing fittings or adaptors careful attention should be given to the technical specifications.
