This valve has a standard CETOP (Comité Européenne des Transmissions Oléohydrauliques et Pneumatiques) mounting pattern, so it can be used in a wide variety of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical applications.
The soft-seated thermoplastic ball material creates a tight seal, so it can be used with gas. For systems that use water, try an alternative component, such as a zinc-passivated carbon steel valve instead.
