RS PRO Bag Filter

The RS PRO blue G4 grade Ultraseal CU4 bag filter is manufactured by mounting the 100% polypropylene synthetic media into a galvanised steel header frame. The efficient mechanised manufacturing techniques deliver cost-effective filtration and the hydrophobic media allows great performance in damp atmospheres. The hydrophobic media allows great performance in damp atmospheres. The rolled safety edge prevents the filter material from being cut and ensure the safety of installation engineers. An extra built-in pre-filter layer provides an extended filter life.

How do air filters work?
Used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, HVAC filters are generally made of gauze-like material. This provides a small passage for air to flow through whilst also stopping larger particles. The standard air filters are designed with efficiency infiltration, as they collect debris and dust. Some more complex filters remove odour and feature a charcoal element. Preventing debris from entering ventilation, cooling or heating system is vital in ensuring longevity as foreign objects in these types of systems can cause them to overheat and cease functioning.

Why change HVAC air filters?
If these types of filters are not properly attended to, they can become clogged. This can prevent airflow, possibly causing the system to overheat and can eventually lead to equipment break down or fires. Changing air filters regularly is vital for health and safety and ensure the HVAC system’s longevity.
