Use this flexible silicone tubing from the RS PRO range in peristaltic pumps. As a food-graded tubing, it's non-toxic and you can be confident chemicals won't leak out of the silicone.

Often found in spray-coating dispensers, this type of tube is made from tough and flexible silicone. This makes it ideal for use when you need to prevent cross-contamination in peristaltic pumps that transport liquids inside a tube. Chemical-resistant and abrasion-resistant, it's also safeguarded against wear and tear, making it a resilient choice for industrial applications. It's also protected from damage caused by sterilisation thanks to its strong construction.

As well as being thoroughly tested to ensure high standards as part of the RS PRO series, this product complies with BS:2848 standards for flexible insulated sleeving when used in electrical appliances. It's ideal for use in laboratories, food processing and fermentation plants, as well as drinks dispensers.
