Low Height Cylinders

Use where collapsed height is a premier requirement in a lifting, levelling or pushing application
Non-metallic bearings on the piston rod and the stop ring provide excellent wear resistance with low friction and high side load bearing capacity

Warning

Safety Note - High pressure hydraulic equipment can work at extremely high pressures and careful attention should be paid to working pressures when choosing accessories.

Low Height Cylinders

High quality single acting, spring return cylinders, manufactured from high strength alloy steels, and providing a minimum safety factor of 3:1
Piston rods are chrome plated to prevent corrosion and the use of pressure activated anti-extrusion seals, enhance performance and reliability
Heavy duty return springs, assist single acting pistons to retract fully. Steel stop rings further increase a cylinders capacity to withstand side loads and restrain the piston at full extension
All port connections are 3/8 in. NPT and each cylinder is fitted with a high flow, quick release, female half coupler as standard
All cylinders are individually tested to 125% of their working pressures and are issued with a manufacturers test certificate, and instruction leaflet
The capacities of all our range of high pressure cylinders are specified at a working pressure of 700 bar
For suitable oil see technical specification of Hydraulic Hand Pumps
Maintenance seal kits are available separately
