The Infineon OPTIREG PMIC is a 2.5 A half bridge with integrated driver and level shifter. It also contains a high side P-channel MOSFET and a low side N-channel MOSFET in a single package. The integrated level shifting stage allows for conversion of the input logic signals to the supply voltage level of the gate drivers. The input signal levels are CMOS compatible. The level shifter and the gate driver provide a dead time generation to simplify the interface with the embedded core voltage regulator of the AURIX TC3xx microcontroller. The low propagation delay allows for use in closed loop control applications with limited requirements for timing. The output stage allows for a high switching frequency.
