Philips MASTER TL-D Secura

The Philips Lighting MASTER TL-D Secura is a low-pressure mercury discharge lamp with a tubular 26mm envelope. This TL-D tube light is a direct retrofit for all standard and super / 80 TL-D lamps operating on conventional or HF gear. The MASTER TL-D Secura features a special protective coating which prevents products from contamination in case of accidental breakage, this feature is easy to identify in audit situations by the blue ring at one end. This fluorescent tube lamp offers a relatively high efficiency, both initially and during lamp lifetime, with high lumen maintenance. Ideal applications of the MASTER TL-D Secura are where contamination resulting from lamp breakage must be prevented, such as in food preparation, health care, pharmaceuticals, cleanrooms etc. Also suitable in environments with high risk of breakage, like sports halls and in environments where UV emission should be reduced, like museums, libraries, archives, food industry, fashion shops etc.

Low mercury content
Protective coating around the entire lamp
Blue ring around one end
Special fluorescent coating gives good colour rendering
Protect products from discolouring and loss of taste by 90% lower UV emission

Note

Not suitable for closed luminaires, as indicated by 2 blue rings
Recommended use in combination with self-stopping lamp control system

Fluorescent Triphosphor

Triphosphor tubes have longer life, a lower mercury content, better colour rendering and higher lumen maintenance than their Halophosphate counterparts. The tubes are available in a variety of colour temperatures from 3000K (warm white) to 6000K (daylight).

• Extended life expectancy which can be increased by upto 20,000 hours with the use of high frequency luminaires.
• Shatter resistant versions available which retain the fragments in the event of a breakage.
• Option of triphosphor tubes with internal reflectors, which reduce waste light and increase light output by up to 75%.
• 16mm (T5) tubes provide a compact alternative to T8 tubes, offering peak performance at +35 °C and typically provide 5% more efficiency in most ceiling applications when compared to equivalent T8 tubes.

Note

Nominal tube diameter - T5=16mm, T8=26mm, T9=29mm, T12=38mm
