RS PRO 3 in 1 Eye Wash Station

RS PRO introduces the fantastic 3 in 1 Eye Wash Station, with two 500 ml bottles of sterile eyewash, two 500 ml bottles of borate buffered sterile Isotonic Sodium Chloride eyewash, two sterile eye pads and eyewash pods for easy and convenient cleansing of many types of eye injury. Designed with written and visual information to provide guidance for how each of the items works for different injuries. Designed with a mirror for easy administration of the eyewash to ensure the most effective decontamination of the eye injury. The RS PRO 500 ml Sterile Eye Wash Solution bottle and eyewash pods contain 0.9% sterile saline solution which is ideal for irrigating eyes and even other general wound washing applications. Whilst the Borate buffered sterile isotonic sodium chloride eyewash has a neutralising effect on both acid and alkaline and is more effective at restoring normal eye pH than tap water or sterile saline solution. Crucially this can reduce the damage caused to the eye from a chemical splash compared to flushing with water or standard saline solution. The RS PRO Sterile Eye Wash is a single-use medical device intended for emergency eye irrigation. There are many things that can irritate an eye so it is imperative to have eyewash solution to hand quickly to avoid any side effects of something irritating the eyeball or eyelid for long periods of time. The station includes all the fixtures required to assemble it and secure it to the wall.

Applications

Eye wash facilities and eye wash stations are commonly found in factories, warehouses, workshops, chemical plants, foundries, petrol stations, garages, laboratories, or other workplaces where hazardous chemicals are used. When it comes to eye injuries, it is important that you have eye washing facilities close by for the health and safety of everyone. By acting fast to emergency eye injuries you could prevent further damage to the eye. As per HSE guidance, following eye contamination with chemicals or small particles, you should wash the eye out with either clean water or sterile fluid from a sealed container for at least 10 minutes so it is essential to have emergency eyewash stations available.

Warning

If the condition persists or worsens after using the eyewash seek medical attention as soon as possible.
